Link in bio with Claude integration: Piku and MCP

The Piku teamUpdated   ·  3 min read

You know how you want your page to feel. Picking a button colour that fits, writing a bio that is not too long, and dragging links into order takes an evening.

Piku is a link in bio with Claude integration: it connects to Claude over MCP (Model Context Protocol). With Claude connected to Piku, you describe your page in a sentence. Claude prepares a design. You preview it and keep what you like.

In short
  • Connect Claude to Piku once, in about a minute.
  • Ask in your own words: "Make my page calm and warm, Rate Card first."
  • Claude prepares a design as a draft: buttons, bio, titles and order.
  • You preview it in the page builder.
  • Apply all of it, or only parts. Your live page does not change until you do.

Connect Claude to Piku

If you already use Claude for your invoices, you are connected. Skip to the next part.

On claude.ai:

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Piku and paste this address: https://usepiku.com/mcp
  4. Choose Continue, then Connect.
  5. Sign in to Piku and choose Allow.

In Claude Code, run this once in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http piku https://usepiku.com/mcp

The same steps are on Piku in Claude.

Ask Claude to design your page

Say how it should feel and what matters most. Claude reads your page as it is today, then prepares a design.

What Claude can set:

  • Look: your button colour, button shape (rounded, square or pill) and how titles line up.
  • Text: a short bio on who you are and what you do, and clearer titles for your links and widgets. You can ask for a few bios to choose from.
  • Order: which links and widgets come first, which section opens first, and where your Rate Card sits.
  • New links: links and widgets from addresses you give it, such as your latest YouTube video.

Widgets Claude can place:

  • YouTube
  • TikTok
  • Instagram
  • Spotify
  • Apple Music
  • WhatsApp

Most people who sell their time put the Rate Card first. It answers "what does it cost?" before anyone has to ask. Ask for it, and Claude puts it at the top.

Preview, then apply

The design is a draft. Your live page stays exactly as it is.

  1. Open the page builder. The draft from Claude is waiting there.
  2. Preview it as your visitors will see it.
  3. Apply all of it, or pick the parts you want: only the look, only the new order, only the text.
  4. Anything you do not apply is left as it was.

Not quite right? Tell Claude what to change: "A softer button colour, and put WhatsApp under the Rate Card." It prepares a new draft.

What Claude can and can never do

Claude can
  • read your page as it is now;
  • prepare a design as a draft;
  • suggest a bio and an order for your links and widgets.
Claude can never
  • change your live page without you;
  • remove a link or a widget without showing you first;
  • move money.

Things you can ask

  • "Make my page feel calm and warm. Rate Card first, then YouTube."
  • "Use my brand colour, deep green, with rounded buttons."
  • "Write three short bios for a wedding photographer in your city. Keep each under 80 characters."
  • "Put my Spotify and Apple Music players at the top, and WhatsApp last."
  • "I run walking tours. Order my page so people book first and see TikTok after."
  • "Bright pink pill buttons, titles centred."

A worked example

You type:

I am a food creator. Warm red buttons, simple. Rate Card first, then my TikTok and YouTube. WhatsApp at the bottom for bookings.

Claude prepares this draft:

PartDraft from Claude
ButtonsTomato red, rounded
TitlesCentred
Bio"Food videos from your city. Recipes, reviews and brand work."
1Rate Card, from USD 150 a Story post
2TikTok
3YouTube
4Instagram
5WhatsApp, "Book a shoot"
Example design, for illustration only.

You open the page builder and preview it. You like the buttons and the order, but you prefer your own bio. You apply the look and the order, and keep your bio. Your page changes only then.

What to put on the page in the first place? See what to put in your link in bio when you sell your time. Rate Card not set up yet? Start with how to make a rate card for any service.

Once your page is ready, Claude can bill your clients too: use Claude to create your invoices with Piku.

Questions

Which link in bio tools work with Claude?

Some link in bio tools now connect to Claude over MCP, such as Linktree and Piku, and others through third-party connectors. Piku's connection also covers your Rate Card, quotes and invoices, so Claude can draft a quote from a brand's request as well as design your page.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way Claude connects to other apps. Piku's MCP server is listed in the official MCP Registry as com.usepiku/piku, at usepiku.com/mcp.

Will Claude change my live page?

No. Claude prepares a design as a draft. Your live page stays exactly as it is until you preview the draft in the page builder and choose Apply.

Can I keep some of the design and not the rest?

Yes. You can apply all of it, or only the parts you like, such as the button colour and the new order, and leave your bio as it was.

Which widgets can Claude place on my page?

The ones Piku has: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, Apple Music and WhatsApp, plus your links and your Rate Card. Claude puts them in the order you ask for.

Do I need to connect Claude again if I already use it for invoices?

No. It is the same Piku connection. Sign in once and you can ask Claude for invoices and for page designs in the same chat.
