Influencer rate card template, with three worked examples
A brand sends a DM: "Love your content, what are your rates?" You could write a new answer every time. Or you could send one link that already says it.
This post gives you a template you can copy today, then fills it in three times so you can see it working:
- a beauty creator;
- a travel creator;
- a UGC creator.
- Three columns: what you sell, what is included, the price.
- Three to six items, named the way a brand would say them.
- A "from" price where the work varies.
- Extras on their own lines: usage, exclusivity, rush.
- Four lines of terms under the table.
The template
Copy this, then replace everything in square brackets.
| Service | What is included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| [Platform] [format], [length] | [Rounds of edits], [days of organic usage] | [from] [amount] |
| [Platform] [format], [number] | [What you post, and when] | [amount] |
| [Bundle name] | [Item] plus [item], posted within [days] | [amount] |
| [Second platform] [format] | [Rounds of edits], [days of organic usage] | [from] [amount] |
| Extra: paid usage | [Days] in the brand's own ads | [amount] |
| Extra: rush | Delivery in under [days] days | +[percent]% |
Under the table, add your terms:
- Deposit: [percent]% to book, the rest on delivery.
- Timing: [days] from brief to first draft.
- Payment: invoice due within [days] days.
- Usage: organic posting on my accounts only, unless agreed.
That is a full rate card. Everything below is about filling it in well.
Example: a beauty creator
Daniel makes skincare and makeup videos. Most of the brand work is local, with some international brands that pay in dollars. The rate card shows one main currency and says invoices can be in USD too.
| Service | What is included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram Reel, 30 to 60 seconds | One round of edits, 30 days of organic usage | from USD 350 |
| Three Instagram Stories | Link sticker, posted on one day | USD 150 |
| TikTok video | One round of edits, 30 days of organic usage | from USD 300 |
| Launch bundle | One Reel, one TikTok and three Stories in one week | USD 700 |
| Extra: paid usage | 30 days in the brand's own ads | USD 200 |
What makes it work:
- The bundle is cheaper than the parts, so brands that want more pick it.
- Paid usage is separate. A brand that only wants a post does not pay for ads it will not run.
- "From" prices leave room for longer videos or harder briefs.
Example: a travel creator
Sam films travel and food, at home and abroad. The clients are tourism boards, hotels and tour companies, many of them overseas. Prices are in the currency most of them pay in, and travel is listed as a cost the client covers.
| Service | What is included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel stay feature | One Reel, five Stories, 20 edited photos | USD 1,200 |
| YouTube integration, 60 to 90 seconds | Inside a travel video, one round of edits | from USD 800 |
| Photo set | 30 edited photos, use on the client's own channels for 12 months | USD 650 |
| Day of filming | Up to 8 hours, raw files included | USD 500 |
| Extra: travel and stay | Flights and nights away from home | At cost |
What makes it work:
- It sells outcomes, not just posts. A hotel wants photos it can use too, so the photo set names the usage.
- "At cost" for travel tells clients what to expect without a number that changes every trip.
- One day rate covers jobs that do not fit a package.
Example: a UGC creator
Lena makes UGC: videos that brands post on their own accounts and run as ads, not on the creator's own feed. The clients are brands at home and in Europe, invoiced in their currency when they ask.
| Service | What is included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| UGC video, up to 45 seconds | One script, one round of edits, 30 days of usage | from USD 220 |
| Extra hook | A new opening for the same video, to test in ads | USD 50 |
| Raw files | All clips, unedited | USD 75 |
| Three-video pack | Three videos for one product, same week | USD 600 |
| Extra: usage, 3 more months | The brand keeps running the videos in ads | USD 150 |
What makes it work:
- Usage drives the price. UGC lives in a brand's ads, so the time it can run matters more than reach. Our UGC rate card guide goes line by line.
- Hooks and raw files are sold on their own. Brands that test ads want both, and they are quick to make.
How to fill in your own
Go row by row:
- List what brands ask you for most. Not every format you can make. Three to six items.
- Name each one the way a brand would. "Instagram Reel, 30 to 60 seconds", not "Content piece".
- Write what is included. Length, rounds of edits, how long the brand can use it.
- Price it. A fixed price when the work is the same each time, a "from" price when it grows with the brief. Our guide on how to make a rate card covers how to find a starting number.
- Add one bundle. It gives brands an easy bigger yes.
- Put extras on their own lines. Paid usage, exclusivity, rush and raw files.
- Add your four terms. Deposit, timing, payment and usage.
Check it from the brand's side:
- Can someone see in ten seconds what they would get for their budget?
- Does any line say "content" or "post" without a platform or length?
- Is there anything a brand often asks for that is missing?
Share it as a link, not a PDF
A PDF goes stale the day you change a price, and you never know which version a brand has. A link stays current.
In Piku, each line of this template becomes a Rate on your Rate Card, shown on your page under your links. Each Rate can be a fixed price, a "from" price or a range, in your own currency. A brand taps Request, you send a quote with the extras added, and the quote becomes an invoice they pay online.
Then:
- put the link in your bio and your email signature;
- send it when someone asks "what are your rates?";
- ask for a deposit on bigger deals before you start.
Questions
How many items should an influencer rate card have?
Three to six. Start with what brands already ask you for, then add one bundle. A longer list slows people down and hides your best offer.
Should I put prices per platform or per post?
Per thing a brand buys: one Reel, one TikTok, a set of Stories. Name the platform in the item, so a brand never has to guess what the price covers.
Do I need a different rate card for each brand?
No. Keep one public rate card and adjust in the quote. Usage, exclusivity and rush jobs change from deal to deal, so they belong in the quote as extras.
Can I use this template if I am not an influencer?
Yes. Swap the posts for whatever you sell: tours, sessions, designs, hours of code. The columns stay the same.
